My ex-wife (oh yes, I've kissed a woman) is taking our son to see this on Friday and it got me thinking about who could be scoring the film now that Jóhann Jóhannsson is no longer with us. Turns out, everybody has been scoring this film, possibly including you! Better get composing, LeHah!

After JJ, it fell to Klaus Badelt (must've been some fall!), then moved on to Geoff Zanelli ("run ZimmerComedyTemplate.midi"), but now it's going to either be Jon Brion and Richard Sherman, or some Frankenstein'd collaboration of all four of the surviving composers?

Anyone have any solid info on this? I'm a big fan of Brion when he's actually used properly (read: rarely), and miss his collaborations with Paul Thomas Anderson. Is there a soundtrack forthcoming? Shittunes? Shittunes? Shittunes?

Shittunes.

Jesus, look at those additional composers/orchestrators. How did Elfman not get a credit on this, too?

Brion was announced as sole composer earlier this year. I suspect both did scores and cues from each were picked.

I did the epilogue and two bridges during the End Credits (between the Coldplay/Bay City Rollers and Frank Sinatra/Bjork songs).
Looks like the credits bastards forgot about ME!!!!!

I know, it was very out of character for her.

My ex-wife (oh yes, I've kissed a woman)

In my experience this is not a fait accompli

Also this movie is null and void if it does not feature wall-to-wall excerpts from Kenny Loggins.

Something I only just noticed when I saw a poster at the theater today: Brion is an anagram for Robin.

Would've been nice if he got to score the film by himself, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Brion was the only composer.

He got replaced at the last minute in a very "Avengers 2" way. Some of his music remained in the film though (due to lack of time to finish him off ?).

Is it me or does the main theme sound like Hannibal which Zanelli had contributed to as well.
