Anyone know what year had the highest number of composer deaths... not just film composers, but "concert" composers as well. For some reason, I seem to recall that 1975 had a high number of composer deaths.

I was just about to write "Paul Chihara too!", but then I found out he didn't die, he turned 80.

I don't care which composers died and when, or how closely clumped together their demises were.

All I care about is Hans Zimmer's score-composing formula living on forever...its immortal drone shall sustain us all.

Paging Ford A. Thaxton:

Didn't you miss your cue to chime in with the word, "ghoulish"?

Ya know his only 'drone' score is BR 2049.

It's not ghoulish. Death eventually comes to us all, even film composers.

Yes. But for some reason the ever-cheerful, always pleasant and friendly Ford A. Thaxton (aka. "Mr. Laughs") seems to feel such topics should be forever off-limits and somehow finds a way to insert the word "ghoulish" into the conversation while chastising the rest of us. smile

Take comfort in knowing you are at least slightly amusing.
