We are limiting ourselves to one track per composer and no more than one track from each score for this.

My top 10 film music tracks of the 21st century so far are:

Brother from Brother composed by Joe Hisaishi
The Cause of Labour is the Hope of the World from The Miners' Hymns composed by Jóhann Jóhannsson
Abandoned in the Woods from A.I. Artificial Intelligence composed by John Williams
Evenstar from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers composed by Howard Shore
Maybe You're My Puppet from Solaris composed by Cliff Martinez
Organics from Samsara composed by Michael Stearns
Mrs. Ainsley from The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel composed by Thomas Newman
Adagio and Transfiguration from Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within composed by Elliot Goldenthal
Graysmith's Theme from Zodiac composed by David Shire
Old Souls from Inception composed by Hans Zimmer

What would your top 10 film music tracks of the 21st century so far be?

    1. "The Hand of Fate: Part 2"
    From "Signs"
    By: James Newton Howard.

    2. Any random cue, except the wailing women cues, from the rejected score to "Troy"
    By: Gabriel Yared

Anything else and I'd have to find a list of films (American; too many world wide) from 2000 onward and go over it.

The only one I can think of right now (because of the other posters) is Signs: Hand of Fate Part 1 by Howard. (And yes, I do mean, Part 1.) One of the great cues of all time.
I'll have to think about the others.

I couldn't possibly make a top ten list out of thousands of cues.

Keep them coming. Some nice picks here, there are a few tracks worthy of consideration from The Lord of the Rings, A.I. Artificial Intelligence and Inception. I had trouble picking just one track from these three scores in particular.

Trying to avoid repetition and limiting to one track by composer here are some of my favorites:

A Thousand Times Good Night - Romeo & Juliet - Abel Korzeniowski (a fantastic score with lots of highlights - still needs to be released on CD)

Anakin’s Dark Deeds - SW Episode III - John Williams (lots to choose from Star Wars, but I love this particular track, very epic)

No Time For Caution - Interstellar - Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, Hannibal, Inception and Interstellar are among Zimmer’s best - choosing one track from them is difficult)

Suite Amid a Crowd of Stars - Hostel II - Nathan Barr (fantastic track, seductive and misterious)

Concerto to Hell - Drag Me To Hell - Christopher Young (Chis Young is such a fantastic composer, among his many highlights I choose this one that is both gothic, epic and beautiful)

Flying Whith Mother - How To Train Your Dragon 2 - John Powell (Powell is a bit hit and miss with me, but when he hits is great HTTYD, Bourne, Chicken Run)

What Are You Asking Me? - The Village - James Newton Howard (another composer with many highlights to choose from. Waiting for a complete release of this score)

Suite from X-Men 2 - John Ottman (an underrated composer IMO. Fantastic theme and good flow in this suite - I prefer the long version with the Magneto theme as of 5’20)

The Bridge of Khazad Dum - LOTR FOTR - Howard Shore (again having to choose one track from LOTR is difficult, but this is among the best specially in the album edit)

Alice’s Theme - Alice in Wonderland - Danny Elfman (fantastic track both in the original and in the sequel version)

It's hard to find, I had to babysit Amazon because it was usually in the $100 range. but it did eventually show up at $15, got the pressed cd in last week from Sony Classical.
    Good album!
