Thanks for posting this. Nerdwriter does a lot of interesting stuff. Was pleased he picked Aquatic Ambience from Donkey Kong Country as his focus - maybe my very favorite video game music ever.

What a nightmare just to create good music.

Makes it that much more impressive what Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, and others ended up creating for these games. Mind blown.

True facts...I don't like the SNES sound chip. It frequently made everything sound like it was played through a slowly deflating balloon.
