Often threads over here whose subject wouldnt generally attract my interest end up being hidden hives of sharp wit and hidden banter.
On gen disc there are so many threads that are of supreme indifference to me it would be easier to list the half dozen threads ive posted on in the last month. The rare occasion iam drawn or steered over there is for a silver age score or a fight in progress!
20-15 years ago, I read every single post and thread in this forum. Imagine that! These days, I'm lucky if I click on 4-5 every day. So it would be impossible for me to list ALL the ones I don't click on. I've found in recent years that those things that interest me, don't interest many others (this goes for FSM, as well as other film music fora). I think the whole way we talk about soundtracks has changed, and not in a direction that appeals to me, unfortunately.
Yeah, something like that. It's weird. For some reason it just makes me feel uneasy, even though I don't have a shred of evidence why it should. Just me being me, I guess.
Reading Jim Phelps' "Favorite FSM Posts.." thread is always fun. Except, when he references ongoing threads I have NEVER opened Like....
Do you have a beard Crying Carson...
Favorite posts are reposted for the general reader, so they need not read the actual threads. Referenced threads are linked as proof of their existence.
I'm instinctively curious, I think I click on most new threads. Even if I pass one bye for a few days, my curiosity gets to me and I eventually click on it. If the thread doesn't interest me or I don't feel like going on a rant I won't post anything.
