Despite his rather good body of work I'm not actually familiar with any of it. Anyone know if it seems a good fit? Rather passionate about Laurel and Hardy, and looking forward to the new movie so just wondered..

Inspired choice.
He's like a modern day John Barry.
He writes lovely, memorable heartfelt themes and his comedy touch can be quite light and delightful (Portmanesque).
Should be good.

Happy to see Kent getting more work! He's a unique voice, and his score last year for "Downsizing" was one of my favorites.

A better choice than the unconfirmed composer attached to the film originally: Clint Mansell.

Another great score by Kent is "Sideways', one of the best cool jazz scores period. Fun and melodic.
