If you've seen the long running series on British T.V. called 'MI-5', I've a question for you. There are about 10 seasons available on dvd. Netflix has them all EXCEPT for Season One, and Season Two. The availability to access the show starts with Season 3. Netflix does not even have a #2 series in their numbers, it skips OVER #2, and starts with Season 3. Season One is 'not currently available' at all on Netflix. (They do this frequently because of the costs incurred of replacing an entire older season, so they go without). I've had Season One in my 'saved' queue for about 14 months! Question: Can I start with season 3 without knowing what's happened in the past two seasons, or will there be huge plot-holes that occur because of the missing prior seasons? Should I continue to wait for the first two seasons? Thanks!

I believe all ten seasons is available on Hulu. Thanks for the info; didn't know this. However, I don't wish to start a subscription to Hulu, I only wanted to know about the possibility of starting AT Season 3, since Netflix isn't providing the first two seasons.

The first series was surprisingly violent, which I guess was to distinguish it from the fantasy spy genre. Thanks Chris. After waiting 14 months, for either Season One and/or Two at Netflix, I'm going to simply start at the only season currently available to me, Season Three, and hopefully if I like it, go on from there. 'SPOOKS'? I have to wonder why you call the show that over there, perhaps I'll find it's signifigance somewhere in Season Three.
