My laptop computer has what I call "Jump to the top Syndrome".

If I scroll down to read an article (on any website) and release the button on the mouse a couple seconds will pass and then the screen instantly jumps to the top of the site by itself. This is not only annoying but somewhat dangerous because several times I go to click on something and as I'm pressing the mouse button the screen jumps and I end up clicking on something I did not intend. I've tried looking this up for a solution but no luck so far.

I'm sure there is some setting that needs adjustment. Has anyone else experienced this? How did you solve this?

Thanks.

I don't know if I can help you, but I can tell you mine tends to do it when there are lots of photos posted in a thread, causing the text to constantly push toward the top. Several times this has caused me to inadvertently click on things I had no intention of clicking on... mad

That's exactly the issue. Don't try scrolling down until all the images have loaded on the page.

Great. With my computer, that'll take 20 minutes per page... wink
