Not great. First time I disagree with Dr. Nigel Channing, because I think this score is stellar!

OT - Bruce Broughton did great work integrating Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker in Eloise at Christmastime. Available at Amazon for under $50, and paired with the first Eloise tv movie. (I haven't heard this yet, but the trailer didn't work for me, so not in a hurry - but I'll get to it.)

I've given this CD about 6 complete play throughs now and I think it's friggin brilliant. Classic JNH score, with some obvious classical references thrown in for good measure. Highly recommended.

Kev, you and I tend to be on the same page, so I'll give this one another shot. But I don't think we will agree regarding the song.

Nowt wrong with the CD, John. The only track I've whittled out is the Nutcracker Suite, performed by Lang Lang. I know you're not JNH's biggest fan, but you should like this one. Of course, I can't see the film cos of that plummy toff bird Any baby news?
