Okay, but again with Cinderella Liberty........try Neptune's Bar.
I can't think of another score where Williams gets close to Funk, unless there's a source cue he wrote. Hopefully, someone will come up with a better track.
Here's another brief one -- begins at the 57 second mark...
And I know you're not big on Williams' Spielberg scores, Onya -- but you might like Williams' distinctly 1970s arrangement of his Close Encounters music...
That is pretty frickin' awesome. I HAVE that album and forgot about it. Silly me...
Didn't understand what this cue was supposed to be doing exactly until hearing the hit music from "Shaft" and realized it is a playful variation piece for Richard Roundtree.
Oh yeah baby...and he almost rips off SHAFT... THE SUGARLAND EXPRESS Track no.8" Plans".
Can't find this on the InterTubes. Is there an LP?
It must be a boot, Onya. There was never an official full release as far as I know. All those great tracks from CINDERELLA LIBERTY are on the LP/CDs. Be careful though if your house is a harmonica-free zone - there's a lot of harmonica in the score, although I think even you might bow down before the greatness of Toots Thielemans' tooting away on some absolutely great JW-penned jazz tracks.

Yes, I almost picked this up from the dollar bin, but I went on YouTube and the harmonica scared me.
I do recognize Toots' abilities, both as guitarist with the George Shearing Quintet, and also as harmonica player on Quincy Jones' funky early 70s LPs!
