I don't know about the rest of you, but I am totally relieved to know that Monstrous Movie Music corrected the reverse channel problem when they re-released their mono titles. Phew! What a relief. Thank-you David.

Clearly a very, very, very, very, slow news day.

This also happens on videos. The earliest case that I recall was a Pioneer Special Edition laserdisc of BYE BYE BIRDIE.

Many years ago I actually had a Fisher stereo receiver (remember those)that had a switch that reversed the channels!

I had a Sony receiver that had the same feature. It also could combine both channels into mono. That was particularly nice to have when playing those awful "simulated stereo" records.

Would it sound normal in Australia where everything spins counterclockwise?

Only when listening to scores that feature the Digeridoo and Woomera
...and while eating toast with Vegemite.

For your Eyes Only

Either the MC (cassette) or the CD is reversed in Chanels

Do they make receivers with these features today?

Except some of those are out of phase when you collapse them to mono.
