BSX Records presents MUSIC FROM THE STAR TREK SAGA, VOLUME 2, a brand new collection of freshly recorded and arranged performances by the Meridian Studio Orchestra from various corners of the STAR TREK universe. This 19-track collection brings together music from every generation of Star Trek, covering much of the TV series, and of interest to many fans, a lengthy suite of music from STAR TREK: THE ANIMATED SERIES composed by Yvette Blais and Jeff Michael, alongside other rare gems, including music from STAR TREK: THE LAS VEGAS EXPERIENCE, plus a suite of music composed by Ron Jones for STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION, alongside a suite of music composed by Dennis McCarthy for STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE.

Just a bump on a release that is from our point of view interesting, it's worth mentioning that we recorded a number of cues from the STAR TREK ANIMATED for this release, which makes them the only stereo recordings available.

I'm glad you are enjoying the CD.
One of the cool things about it that we are happy about is that we were able to record both Ron Jone's STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION concert suite as well as Dennis McCarthy's STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE concert suite for the first time anywhere.
Also Jay Chattaway's STAR TREK: VEGAS ExPERIENCE is pretty cool too.

Both of these volumes — and the video game album as well — are really nice additions to a Star Trek collection. There are plenty of exclusives, and it is nice to get the chance to hear the composers revisiting their material.
I would not mind another edition.

Please, please put this effort into other shows that have never had soundtrack albums produced. Please.

I first listened to this on Spotify, and to show support for their efforts, I bought the CD. That's the best way to encourage future releases. Though nothing is as sure a bet as Star Trek, so that will always have to be a consideration.
