Hi folks ... well it finally turned up and, hefty customs charge be damned, the joy of opening this dark delight is truly intoxicating. Even Roxy, my Husky-Dog, falls under its majestic, brooding spell. Well done, Varese, and I doff my cap and cape to you, Mike Matessino! Well worth the wait! https://youtu.be/cqEQird412g

Really enjoying your videos, Chris! It's nice to see fellow score fans enjoying these releases. I listen to th Boston Pops "Night Journeys" constantly. Love that twisty sounding theme. -Rick O. Hey thanks, Rick! Much appreciated. Night Journeys is a wonderful track for sure. It's both beautiful and menacing. Lilting strings and sly, exotic woods ... with the harp adding a delicate frisson of mystery. More videos to come soon! Cheers Chris Kilt-Man

I expected to be grossed out but ended up LMAO! Adorable pup. Enjoyable vid all around. Ha ha ... thanks, mate! Roxy frequently makes unscripted cameos! There's a great one ... I think it's one of a trio I did covering tracks from Goldsmith's Omen Trilogy - where she is sitting there growling at me! Cheers Chris Kilt-Man

The growling pup on cue. You can't make this shite up! LMAO! So cute. You're really are good at communicating your thoughts verbally and on the fly so to speak, (appears unscripted) even when photo-bombed by demonic puppies. I don't know what you do for a living but you really should get a gig in the entertainment business. Sadly soundtrack reviewer isn't gonna get you anywhere as much as I've enjoy your reviews and enthusiasm. But if you enjoy it from a hobby perspective that's all that matters. Cheers, Solium! Definitely unscripted, mate! I'm a naturally very enthusiastic person and it genuinely means a lot that people like my stuff. I did spend years as a movie and soundtrack reviewer for AVforums - in fact, I used to put the links in here - but when they decided to curtail the actual "reviews" and focus overwhelmingly on the tech aspects of the media, they killed the passion altogether. I used to do some lengthy reviews here, too. Called Reflecting Upon ... I think! And now with YouTube, I've found a great outlet once more. Anyway, much more to come. I'm even open to suggestions - providing I've got the music (or movies) in question. Husky permitting, of course! Thanks Chris Kilt-Man
