Plead for this almost every Year since release of the movie, I have bought the for your consideration Oscar Promo release out of frustration long ago but of course not really complete, only has a few tracks blended together seamlessly. In my opinion this score will never happen, I am afraid! If it will, they have to include the excellent trailer music too, which is a holy grail to me! Somebody knows what the exact length is of the complete score?
It's not like the specialty labels don't know about this one, or don't release Silvestri, or don't realize this is a fan favorite. That it hasn't happened surely means that there are issues beyond their control. My guess is that Reprise is holding on to this.

Yep, you are unfortunately right, I am afraid! As I said earlier, I guess this expanded score release will never happen due to several licenses parties...

That's how it's going to be, and that's why I haven't been waiting for a special soundtrack release for a long time. I am happy with the soundtracks I have and with the soundtracks definitely released now. All other soundtracks will either one day be released, if possible ... or never (why ever!) I can't change that, so it's pointless to get upset about it. The last 20 years have shown that CD labels around the world are doing everything possible to release as many soundtracks as possible. These efforts of the CD labels are enough for me. They are not omnipotent ... Therefore, thank you to all CD labels around the world for the tireless hard efforts in recent decades! I am now looking forward to all the CD releases in 2019 ... - Que Sera, Sera ...
