Ain't it the truth?

Just want to agree with Jeff Bond and others here about Duning's absolutely heartrending scores for STAR TREK - they're all amazing, but "Metamorphosis" is beyond words. Gorgeous (that's a word). Also love the aforementioned PICNIC, THE DEVIL AT 4 O'CLOCK and, yes, TOYS IN THE ATTIC.

Sorry to sound so stupid, but I've been out of the loop so long, I don't know if any of Duning's Star Trek scores are still available, I would especially like to get The Empath. Also, I would love to get a copy, even if on vinyl of THE WORLD OF SUSIE WONG, very Les Baxterish (maybe it's those wonderful Reg Owen orchestrations), and surprisingly touching.

The day after Duning's 108th birthday sounds like a good day to discover or re-discover one of his great scores. I'm still in awe of his SALOME score. That man could do anything.

One of my favorites is from the latter part of career: "The Man With Bogart's Face".

One of my favorites is from the latter part of career: "The Man With Bogart's Face". The soundtrack was only released on a promotional LP. I'd buy it if it were issued on CD, but I'm not a fan of the title song. Not no more! http://www.kritzerland.com/bogarts_face.htm
