He has posted a few remarks the last few days on the Tear-Tissues thread and Legend of 1900 thread. I assume he is doing okay and slowly getting stronger.

Last night he left a message on my answering machine...he was laughing hysterically (ala Gorshin as the Riddler) about a little tete-a-tete with Ford Thaxton.

Guess I'll have to call him back.

Not sure, Ron; however, I heard that she celebrated her 59th birthday a few days ago!

You're right, Sis. Mia did turn 59 just recently. Just watched "Rosemary's Baby" the other night for the umpteenth time!
Ms. Farrow continues her acting career, recently starring in a play, and is currently working on a new TV sitcom, from what I understand.
But perhaps her most important role these days is as a UNICEF Special Representative on the fight against polio. She has a son stricken with polio, and just recently addressed the UN on the continuing struggle to erradicate this disease once and for all in our lifetime.

As far as being MIA myself, guess I just recently hit one of those "low points" we all go through from time to time. Didn't feel like emitting any undue negativity on all you nice people here, and have basically just been keeping to myself. Man, I've sure got a lot of reading and catching up to do now!

Continued best wishes to Howard, and to all of you.

Welcome back, Cindy. Don't think I (for one) hadn't noticed that you were keeping a low profile - I thought maybe you'd got your own tongue smile

Well, if you'd asked me, I woulda told ya!

Howard and I spoke on the phone a few weeks ago, and he sounds -- as usual, thank God -- in excellent spirits.

I had the same problem. When I finally got to New York this June, Howard has just moved to Florida after living there for all those years. It was never meant to be, apparently.

So let me get this straight: One Mr. Howard L is living Florida, a state with no tax? Is there a connection?

WHY I oughta...tax, shmax none of that nor SNOW to shovel. And yes, Dana, back to that area we are. Taxes? Oh--TEXAS--YOU? You gotta be kidding. At least the legendary STEAK we've been threatening to barbecue is in a real barbecue state. That I'll probably never get to. Hey, joan! And Dr. Kinsinger, my name is Rags WOOF WOOF! And Prestone, the other day I read an opening review in IMDB that compared the flick's criminally underrated status to that of yourThe Night Of The Hunter. Of course, in truth I can't recall what flick I was looking up. Florida heat and all, ya know? Oh and Thor how did you like the Big Apple?

PS
Here's looking at you, CAT
wink
