Don Ralke, who arranged this masterpiece, did a couple of great exotica albums for WB circa 1960: The Savage and the Sensuous Bongos and Gershwin with Bongos. They were both paired on a Collectibles CD.

I used to take William Shatner for granted.
That is, until I heard THE TRANSFORMED MAN. After that, I finally understood that the man is an international treasure.
