..... Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain, is the only work of this composer that I know about. Has he done anything else? Anything good?

The funny thing about this score is, the song at the end sung in Welsh & then English has actually become my favorite track.

I don't think it was even in the film.

He's also done-Tom and Huck(not bad-Americana)
The Proposition(some good tracks)
Jawbreaker(Electronic)
Evelyn(Irish not bad-even has Pierce Brosnen singing).

Love the cue which plays over the scene where someone is struck by lightning.

I've never seen the film but listening to this CD now.
Some really nice tracks amongst the Rachel Portman-esque 'oompah' cues.
Strong use of choir and voice add some power and intensity to certain tracks and one or two reminded me slightly of Morricone's ORCA in the vocal style.
I don't have that much by Endelman (who I often confuse with Stephen Warbeck) but what I do have (Tom & Huck, Evelyn) I quite enjoy.

I think Endelman fans may be more insecure than Goldsmith ones smile

For a moment there, I saw THE PROPOSITION and thought "really? What the hell did Endelman do on that?" before I realized there was a previous film by the same name back in the 90s. Doh.
