Does anyone know if there was ever a legit release of the scores and songs from the movie Fright Night. I was watching this the other night and liked the score but I also liked the title song Fright Night by J Geils Band. I do seem to recall seeing it in record stores - many eons ago
There was a legit LP with all the songs (including "Fright Night") plus a song version of Brad Fiedel theme named "Come to Me".
The instrumental version of the "Come to Me" theme, as heard in Amy's seduction scene, is available in Vampire Circus CD from Silva.
There´s also a "promo" (or boot?) version of the score with bad sound quality and some of the songs.
I am really waiting for a legit release of "Fright Night Part II" score - which I consider Fiedel's best (the songs from that 2nd film are not bad either)
The boot in question contains all of the songs from the LP release and includes a good amount of the score. The CD is packed full to 79 minutes, the sound is decent...
Good to tide you over until a legit version ever happens.
