Yeh, well I try not to be a stick in the mud...its a cheesefest but I did an arrangement of the song (there is some other stuff there too) if you want to hear it.

(pop-up blocker has to be turned off most likely to get the player to appear)

LOL
Now you've done it, I'm about ready to dust off the LP and give the whole soundtrack a listen. I am probably one of the few people to have seen the flick during its theatrical 'run'--TWICE yet--and that's because the girlfriend insisted. Still, I admit to having been wowed at seeing Gene Kelly do an old-fashioned routine (Whenever You're Away From Me) and that's the track I especially feel like hearing.

Couldn't do your clip as they want me to turn off the pop-up blocker and I can't be bothered to futz around with the kooky thing.roll eyes

Uh, Howard, I saw it first run, too... and I've been blind ever since.

This is great. I hadn't listened to the CD in almost 3 years, but I had put it in my changer just the day before this was posted. Coincidence? I think not...

Still a fun listen for an old ELO fan (and the ONJ stuff is pretty good, too). The movie, on the other hand, has been mercifully blocked from my memory.

I have a friend who thinks this is one of the best movies ever made. Of course, he thinks JAKE SPEED is a classic, too. Fortunately, he has many other redeeming features to compensate.

I'd go in a New York minute... if I actually lived in New York. I love this movie and have no shame in saying so.

Great score. Gene Kelly dancing. Animation by Don Bluth. ELO. Olivia Newton John.

This movie ROCKS!
