Does anyone in the U.S. know if this great Ennio Morricone score will become available here?

I am aware of the double score CD with Massacre in Rome but this offers 6 previously unreleased tracks chosen by Morricone.

Why does the shipping cost double the price of the CD?

Never mind all that.....welcome back Zippy!

Glad you like Battle - the new one's certainly on my list.

Don't know about the shipping costs. Maybe they're taking lessons from certain people on eBay.

Yes, and three other great releases. My last few posts about Italian soundtracks had no replies, so it might simply be the wrong board to promote these releases.

Well, thanks Nyborg & Slint for bringing this now 10 year old posting back to life!
I did buy the GDM back in '05 but felt something lacked in the remastering. The original Lp had become so familiar to me since my teens (fer crying out loud, I'm oldwink that I though my judgement was off. However, more time with the GDM made my disappointment in it clear. Those incessant snare's weren't as crisp and the haunting Ali's Theme seemed to have lost it's depth, as though some process had flattened it.

Like you, Nyborg, I pre-ordered this immediately, and now that I see it's "in stock" at Quartet, my anticipation is off the charts. Come on SAE, don't make me wait until the end of May to get this... please?
