I just saw on a Spanish newspaper website that a movie about Jane Birkin's life is being made. In case you don't know, she was married with John Barry. And Barry is gonna be a role in the motion picture performed by Ian Hurt. So if he's gonna play John Barry in the 1960's I'd say he's wrong for it. Like someone said earlier, if he's gonna play Barry in the 60's, i'd imagine a younger actor would be more suitable. Barry met Birkin when she was one of the girls in Barry's musical Passion Flower Hotel (lyrics by Trevor Peacock) along with Francesca Annis and Pauline Collins. I think John Hurt would be good for older Barry, but since he died a year ago, maybe not. Ian Hurt? Couldn't find him. Ian Hart?
