Those reviews suck. In fact, Dan Shlocky Goldwasser sucks.

At least I have the balls to use my real name.

How is the weather in Bahrain?

DAN ON *JURASSIC PARK 3*: "But Davis doesn't just rehash Williams's themes."

I regret that JURASSIC PARK 3 isn't a totally original score. Not that I'm anti-Williams. But just out of respect for composers and their own desire to write original stuff.

DAN SAID: "Where the album suffers though, is from the sheer amount of intense music."

I usually don't object to mood-monotony, but I guess I can sympathize when it comes to this kind of blowhard music.

DAN SAID: "One item that is a source for much debate is the inclusion of the classic Randy Newman song, 'Big Hat, No Cattle'."

I regret this tune's inclusion. Not because I hate the tune. But because pop-tune insertions have a demeaning effect on the gravitas of a movie. (I don't even watch movies myself, but I can sympathize with everyone who hates those multiple pop-tune insertion soundtracks.)

I regret that JURASSIC PARK 3 isn't a totally original movie. That being said, it's a sequel. And what is a JURASSIC PARK movie without the JURASSIC PARK themes?

But the song, when heard in the film, sounds completely natural and almost expected. It's not forced or misplaced.

Have you seen the film yet? When you do, you might realize that this song is well placed. As for it being on the CD, well, how many OTHER soundtracks do you have where they included all score and one or two source songs from the movie? Come on - it's nothing new!!

Thanks for reading!
