No he is the overall composer and apparently there are other contributors to the episode. For instance, in IMDB there is a Thomas Arne credited for a song called Rule, Britannia!. No mention of the piece at the 35:50 mark.

I have sample many of Luchi de Jesus on Youtube but no luck.

I watched that spot (you wrote earlier it was 38:50 although the music starts abit before that). Has a Morricone-spaghetti western vibe. I'm not a Universals composer expert so I was only hoping it might sound familiar, but it didnt.

Thomas Arne - 18th century English composer. Rule, Britannia, Britannia rules the waves; Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

So, what the hell happened to your 'Empire'. Huh?

Yes Last Child, spent hours online and everything seems to point to Luchi De Jesus, but have only have sample of his music on Youtube. Thought maybe someone who bought a set could look on their DVD sleeve or other material.

Other than that I might not ever find out, thanks to those that tried.

... Brexit? ... I thought we weren't supposed to talk of such subjects on this forum!

As for Arne's iconic composition ... I'm late to the party. It's not a piece of music I enjoy and yet when I played his masque (in 3 acts) called: Alfred (Nicholas McGegan/Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra/1999) I was both surprised and inspired by this piece (it forms part of the last track) ... it sounded really good!!!

I used to watch Banacek - a few of the episodes were quite entertaining.

I seriously doubt the dvd sleeve art will mention any composers. You should start a thread in the Music forum (actually it's called the General Discussion forum), asking for help, but include a clip of the show with music (upload it to youtube). This is the non-film music forum.
