Thank you. But I guess I´m not really that much interested in your opinions.

That's always good to know.

Ignatius has obviously created a database to manage his posts - viewable by topic, composer, or date – for convenient short-notice pontification. Perhaps he would be so kind to provide a link to this database. That way, we could know his opinions prior to our posting, eliminate any unnecessary chatter, and eventually close down the board altogether.

When are we getting a complete/expanded release of this very nice score?
The promo has just under an hour of original music and the commercial album ain't good!

This is my favorite Conti score. Great film too. I love the way he incorporates Simone's Sinnerman.

A fave movie of mine, greatly improving on the original, and a fantastic good score by Conti.
If ever an expanded release was needed, its' for this score.

Is the brilliant music from the catamaran sequence on the soundtrack? There's no dedicated track for it it seems but I wonder if the scene in the film was retracked from somewhere else in the score.

Years ago, I interviewed Bill Conti for Soundtrack magazine. It was at the time of the release of The Thomas Crown Affair.

Some of the old Soundtrack interviews have been digitized, and this is one of them. To learn more, go here:

I'd love an expanded release of the Michel Legrand album.

Lovely scene. It's not on the official soundtrack only in the promo.

The score works so well in the movie, it's really great.

This score too good. Please release expanded. Me want it.

The guys at lalaland already told me they haven't looked into it, any other label out there that could potentially bring us this score?

In 2007 I said this earlier in the thread: "This is probably the only Bill Conti score I can't seem to get into. On the other hand, I hear the disc is a rather poor representation of the score, including a rather wonderful instrumental variation on "Windmills In My Mind"? Having not seen the movie, I cannot account for it beyond what I have on CD. "

Seven years later, in 2014, I'm saying I'm dying to have the whole score on disc. This is a real gem by Conti, and I hope one of our labels is working to have this put out.

Yep, wonderful score. I love his "Flying" cues!

I agree wholeheartedly. Among the many possibilities considered by labels for re-release, this work must carry some gravitas... Conti wrote an extremely listenable and enjoyable score for the film which doubles as a wonderful stand alone listening experience. Make it so!
