I see that SAE have this one up on their website for pre-order. This looks like a must have for me. Hope we get the track listings soon. I wonder if it's a limited edition ? Thanks PCD. Ordered !

Also 'up' are William's Images, and Wannberg's The Philadelphia Experiment/The Mother Lode.

The price is 16,95 - regular Prometheus price of nonlimited release. IMAGES have written limited edition of 2000 copies so if the Jerry CD was limited as well, I suppose they would have also mentioned it.

Wonderful news!

Thanks a lot, Prometheus!

What are these, on the picture? 1/4" tapes?

I wonder what the recordings are like.
Mono, for sure. Dialogue included? Hope not! So far, looks like a killer series of albums!

Stuff like this is surely welcome. Thanks Prome! Sounds like this could be a super set of Volumes of the Maestros early treasures.

Strange picture. Not sure why they would set it up to show hanging, unspooled bits of tape all over the place.

If the material is what they list, this might have been cues from those shows residing in the Columbia music library series.
(E-Z Cue?)

This is the one I am most excited about because I have the original Williams Oscar LP and the previous PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT release. But this material I never even heard, and based on his early television material that I HAVE heard, this should be primo stuff!

There're no tracklistings nor audio samples at SAE.
That's very strange?

The description of IMAGES doesn't say limited edition of 2000. It says:

2000 Edition. Digital transfer from the "PROMOTIONAL BOOLEG" lp release.

What does that mean, exactly? Does that make this a bootleg, too?

(Not trying to cause trouble, I just want to make sure this is a legitimate release before I order it. That description is troubling.)

Perhaps it's there to illustrate what CD producers have to go through to find the best possible audio source.

What they are saying is that the music was transferred from the bootleg LP that was released previously.

You guys are just looking to start trouble...

This release was legitimately licensed from the rights holders.

Buysoundtracks aka Prometheus showcase doesn't sell "Images" nor "Jerry Goldsmith, the early Years"?
There's something wrong...

It and BSX are two very seperate companies.

Ford, any chance to post the tracklist, please, or is the actual content of the disc still secret? wink
