Is anyone else familiar with this score - I've been trying to get a copy since I started collecting soundtracks in 1982. While no commercial Lp was released I did here a rumour years ago that there was a promo LP. I have managed to get a Japanese 45 with a pretty awful cover version of the AIRPORT 77 "theme" performed by the "Chris Carpenter Orchestra" (although it does have a cool cover). I even wrote to Mr Cacavas when I was a young and reckless 15 year old, but received no reply. I have always thought this score was superior to his earlier AIRPORT 1975, which DID get an LP release on MCA and a subsequent CD release in Japan. So if anyone out there has the slightest of leads or maybe even, God willing, a copy of this on cassette or CDR ... please make my millenium and contact me - I'm sure I can make it worth your while. If I have to keep listening to the score off the DVD with cheesy 70's dialogue and scenery-chewing performances to boot I might just have to be committed! HHEEELLLLLLLPPPPP PPPLLLEEEEAAAASSSEEE .....

Hi, there. Go to The Adbook in Henk's soundtrack corner. Someone was willing to trade his cdr copy of this score by John Cacavas (God knows how he managed to get it) Happy hunting!
