What do you guys think about not receiving feedback from a seller? I have purchased many items off of eBay and the seller will not leave feedback or does not leave feedback until I have left feedback for them? I have paid for my item, so I would expect feedback left as soon as they receive my payment and then I leave feedback when I receive the item. I have started to not leave feedback for those sellers that have not left me feedback. One of those sellers sent me an e-mail saying to please leave feedback for them. I responded, "Where is my feedback?" When I sell items, I leave feedback when I receive payment. Then the buyer does not leave feedback and I am asking was, "Was there something wrong with the item when you received it?" So now I am thinking about not leaving feedback until the buyer has left feedback for me. I also do not like that sellers can no longer leave negative or neutral feedback. I have had a few complaints from buyer and if they would have read my auction description it is all there in English, but they say they did not read it. One buyer started a case against me, which I won in the end after explaining to eBay that the information was in the description. Ebay customer support is also pretty useless. I have made many calls to them and go around in circles, so I hang up on them. Just got off the phone with eBay customer service about a negative I received because the buyer said that they did not receive their item. The tracking on the package says it was delivered. Ebay support says even with the tracking, that does not mean the buyer received the item, because they might live in apartment with small mail boxes and some one might have stolen it. What? Is that my fault? I believe I am done with eBay and I told the eBay support person that. Protecting the sellers? Who do they make to most money from, the buyers of the seller? Are there these type of problems on Amazon.com? I have sold 2 items on there with no problems. Feedback doesn't have any bearing on the account. I reserve leaving feedback sometimes until the buyer has done so. That way I can truthfully leave a statement if they decide to screw me.

Even if the seller is waiting to leave feedback for a buyer and the buyer leaves negative feedback, what can the seller do, but leave positive feedback for buyer. EBay really has no clue on how to protect their sellers.
