Sweet! Loved the first Mercenaries score, and Tilton's "Black" as well. Dang was close to Best Buy this morning but didn't know - might not get down there for a week or so.

A fellow filmscore fan tipped me off or I wouldn't have known. I need to start checking these preorder boxes more often.
Yes but at the store they have these preorder boxes for like 5 or 10 bucks, depending on the store, that you can buy with the score inside the box.
I just wanted to avoid driving out of my way. The closest Best Buy is about 45 minutes away!
Yea I was thinking that the Best Buy near me wouldn't have it for some reason (with my luck) but the store I went to had about 6 of them, and it says right on the front and the back , score cd inside.
Seriously, thanks for pointing this out. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. Its a bolder, more ferocious than the first score. LOTS of incredible percussion material in there. I think I can hear a little of Williams' Lost World burried in there too.
Heres the track listing of the BestBuy pre-order disc
1. Mercenaries 2 Main Theme 2. Solano's Villa 3. Betrayal 4. Streets of Venezuela 5. Hostile Waters 6. Taking Out the Rig 7. Solano Problem 8. Big Oil Bender 9. Universal Petroleum 10. Oil's Well That Ends Well 11. The A.N. Invades 12. Jungle Brawl 13. Grotto del Guerilla 14. Freedom Fighter Free-For-All 15. Bunker Busting 16. PMC Ya Later! 17. Battle at Caracas 18. Going After Solano 19. End Credits
Chris Tilton apparently cued in with this
I'm surprised they gave away this pre-order bonus so early. Nevertheless, there will be an iTunes, Amazon MP3, etc release that will be DRM free (as with all EA releases now) a week after the game comes out. There's also a few minutes of additional music on the official release that's not on this pre-order CD, though it will have the same track listing.
Edit: Oh, and the iTunes release will feature a digital booklet pdf designed by Ryan Keaveney.

Oh I read this again , hehe, he may not be talking about a pressed cd release, just the itunes. Ill have to see how much more music it looks like after it appears on itunes.
I haven't had a chance to listen to it very much between helping the wife and watching the grandson, Ill hopefully have some time tomorrow to get some good listen time in.
My buddy LeHah and I agree FSMers, go to Best Buy and get this sucker before its gone. Let's sell them out.
I'd definately buy this if I lived near a Best Buy - but I haven't been in a Best Buy for almost 5 years (since I moved from WI to TN). The nearest Best Buy is 65 miles away!
The iTunes release will be about three minutes longer. And of course feature some pretty artwork!
Yea you guys know me. I met a fellow filmscore lover a few years ago and since we have become very good friends, hes really into art, I was a little but now have become more into it. Art is pretty.
I wonder if were there a lot of people at BB this morning who were totally unprepared for the question "Which game did you want to pre-order, the PC game, the Playstation 2 or 3, the X-box...), and to which I replied very eloquently "gee ... duh ... erm ... I don't really care..."
