From the sound sample, it appears the limpid voice of Julie London will still be only heard on video releases singing in the main title. She was one of the best of her time for what she did: sound sexy. No wonder she was chosen. Too bad she's still tied up somewhere. *Sniff* (Or is she on the demo?)

London's "Boy on a Dolphin" is on the CD JULIE LONDON - THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION. It's also available for download on iTunes without DRM. As I recall it is a different arrangement (one I'm not thrilled by). Am I incorrect?

Well, now that some of us have received it, why don't we simply ask them?

Julie London or not, the vocals from the lp/cd are what I'm accustomed to for 30 odd years, and I like 'em just fine. I just want to hear this damned thing in STEREO....

(to borrow from Dennis Norden) She always sounds like she's French-kissing the microphone. And when a gay man gets goo-goo-eyed listening to a woman singing (and it's NOT Peggy, Barbra, Liza or Judy), you KNOW there's some serious hotness melting that microphone.

Julie's got a very sexy, smoky, sultry, alluring, (etc.)...voice. Holly and I listened to London's ABOUT THE BLUES on LP (which had originally belonged to her parents) for years before it was finally reissed on CD, coupled with LONDON BY NIGHT. A perfect pick for a romantic dinner by the fireplace. http://www.amazon.com/About-Blues-London-Night-Julie/dp/B00005NKB5/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1221195572&sr=1-1
