Her involvement with "Schoolhouse Rock" earns her a mention in on this board, though that was a pretty minor aspect of her career. IMHO.

She was one of my all-time favourite female crooners...
Her version of "Peel Me A Grape" was the best I ever heard...

Blossom Dearie did some fabulous versions of songs from films such as 'Watch What Happens' from The Umbrellas of Cherbourg composed by Michel Legrand and Jacques Demy, here recorded live at Ronnie Scott's Club in London in 1966
