Received this today. A bit strange that the cover states 2009 as release date though. I guess that was when the production started?

It's a brilliant 2-hour film, very personal and very much focused on his film work. I would have loved to hear comments from Roger Donaldson (The Bounty) and Costa-Gavras (Missing) too, but that's a minor complaint.
I also would have liked to hear some facts about some of his studio albums, like Oceanic, Voices, The City and Direct, but they were totally ignored.
But all in all, if you're a Vangelis fan, you should buy this.

I'd have to disagree about its attention to his film work. There is some coverage of his movie scores, but to my mind it is spotty, and superficial. The Bounty, Antarctica and Missing are totally ignored, as is his extensive body of work for Frederick Rossif's documentaries. The footage of Ridley Scott and Vangelis at his Paris studio is pretty cool though.
But there are a some interesting facts about his life, career and other music. It's pretty informative in this regard, so it is probably more of interest to hardcore Vangelis fans, not people who are just into his soundtracks.
