I could imagine that with the huge amount of music that there is, it's just difficult to locate all the material. In many cases with Kamen scores, things got lost unfortunately...
2016 would be a great year for this score to be expanded!! I haven't seen this movie in 17 years and now that Alan Rickman died I just had to watch it. Great music!!! So here's to the 25TH ANNIVERSARY and Alan Rickman!!!
I would love to see this expanded. The edits on the original album were practical (the tracks are suites edited together from separate cues, which Kamen did often), but kind of weirdly done here. On the last track, the final battle cue crossfades into the epilogue while it's still in progress.
Playing this I realized the first 50 seconds of the main theme is the Back To The Future theme. You can hear everything else Silvestri has done in this score. It's almost a best of compilation. A lot of this score made it into Band of Brothers.
There's also some Empire Strikes Back spooky Dagobah music here. (Escape to Sherwood) Maybe it was tracked.
