Listening to the expanded "Thunderball" at work, I realized how the two halves - the album and the extras - really work well on their own as two individual albums.
You're welcome!
lk
Unlike these ungrateful knaves, I give thanks EVERY NIGHT ,before going to bed, that LK aka "Lord Lukas" was the person given the assignment of expanding Bond!!!
I created two Thunderball playlists, with some additions, and here is what I did.
The first playlist is the album, except I add Dionne Warwick's version of "Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" between side 1 and 2.
For the second playlist, I used the extras roughly in the order that are in on the CD. In addition, I open the program with Roland Shaw's (definitive instrumental) version of "Thunderball," and I place Shirley Bassey's version of "Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" midway through.
What about i-Tunes? - like what they did with Casino Royale? Couldn't they license additional tracks?
And while i'm at it, i did my own version (i'm sure as many did) back in 2005 from the xpanded cd and the 5. 1 track from the special edition dvd (without the center channel there's only faint dialogue and few fx) and then a few bits of dialogue for the narrative and it runs for about 107 minutes...

# contains dialogue or vocals // a few of the titles names are my own obv :-)
Is anyone able to pick out which of these tracks are not available on the expanded CD.
Everything (se) was ripped from the old Special Edition DVD because i couldn't find it on the CD then and i didn't wanna use any rerecordings. I never upgraded this when the Ultimate Edition or the Blu-Ray was released. Actually i included some selected dialogue because it nicely segued into the start of the music and this worked very well with the following Bonds too...

Why would anyone put all four of these in a row? Why not spread them out over the program?

Like i said, assembly! It's all there was (at the time) and since these are not part of the movie itself...
