Ah yeah. This was such a bizarre expansion. Hopefully someone else gets their hands on it (and Halloween III) someday.

Yes. The first three Halloweens are in need of proper releases in complete and unaltered form!

Halloween III is my favorite of them all.

Halloween III is my favorite of them all.



Halloween III is possibly the high watermark of the Carpenter/ Howarth collaboration for me. The expansion was nice, but after hearing the death waltz LP version, it’s obvious there is way more material that remains unreleased on CD. I’m hopeful that someone will revisit it someday soon.

So what the hell happened with this release anyway? Its not complete. Its not really expanded. And the remastering seems have boiled down to an aggressive No Noise push. I still can't wrap my head around it.

You’d have to ask Howarth. I just can’t wrap my head around the choices he makes.
