I recieved it and listened to it. It's my favourite score of the year so far. I think Hamslich has done a wonderful score. He keeps the retro motivs very fresh and the result it's outstanding. They don't make music like this anymore.
I would love to see it getting an Academy Award Nomination
Just received my copy of The Informant direct from Silva Screen, which arrived within 2 days of ordering! Wish I had ordered direct from them in the first place. HMV were next to useless obtaining this CD for some reason. I have just cancelled my order for this CD with them.
Several months ago, I ordered a copy of the soundtrack from The Wiz from HMV. It came with the front and back of the liner notes and two staples visible where the rest of the liner notes should have been, as all of the pages had been ripped out ! When I complained they said they would investigate. They then said they could not find another booklet to send, and would I like to send the item back for a refund. Anyway, I've just kept the CD. Not impressed with HMV at the moment, although they have fulfilled past orders ok.
Does anyone have a spare copy of the liner notes/booklet from The Wiz soundtrack, or know where I could obtain one?
