Hate to burst your balloon, but there aren't a lot of "classic film score" fans on the horror board. I know because I have followed it for years. And many of the most vocal fans on that board are regular visitors, if not contributors, to this board. But if you post about punk rock or grunge or surf-ghost music, you'll get a lot more responses over there than if you post something about Salter, Skinner, Stein, or Roemheld!

Frank Skinner is one of my favorites. And A & C Meet Frank may be his best work. I love this score, every note of it and will keep my fingers crossed for a full representation on CD. There are some other Skinner gems as well: Saboteur, Arabian Nights, The Naked City (with Rozsa) and Harvey immediately come to mind. I have bought all of Tribute's previous releases in order to support their efforts. I know Bill and John want to do this one. I realize that sales rears its ugly head. If I hit lotto this week, I will finance A & C myself. Ooops! There goes my retirement plans.

That's okay, David, it wasn't much of a balloon. Just something I thought worth mentioning in passing, and that I already acknowledged wouldn't change anything. Obviously you've made more of a study of the Horror Board than I have. I've known OF the Board for several years, but only recently have started frequenting its environs.

Preston -- I apologize for bursting the balloon. I didn't know that was your post. I seldom look at who makes the posts -- I merely respond to the things being said. You can look for yourselves on that board when somebody announces the latest FSM CD release -- if you're lucky there will be one response to the initial post. Most of the people on that particular section of the board are into goth music and death metal and other things more pop than orchestral. That's probably why our Mighty Joe Young and This Island Earth CDs got beaten for the Rondo by a Zacherle interview CD of archival shows or something like that.

Tut tut, nothing to apologize for. You were only sharing your knowledge. Nobody loves Zacherley more than I do, but it sounds as if they had apples running against oranges, or should I say garlic against wolfbane. In other words, just as screwed up as the Oscars and many other award franchises we could all name.

Well it's 2017 and no sign of this album. I wish someone would do a kickstarter for this album, I would contribute.

I too would contribute to a kickstarter for this classic Frank Skinner score. A & C Meet Frank just cries out for a new recording. It's a fantastic score!

Stromberg and Morgan have disappeared, but I've been keeping track of what they're up to.

Here, for example, I learned that Stromberg has some travel lined up, possibly to Moscow:
