I got out of my mini surgery an hour ago. I'm still resting. Thanks for the nice facebook comments. I will post more later on. I am exhausted. I have, and I swear, just been through the most painful thing in my life.

I saw the words "surgery" and the word "face" and I thought you went the way of too many Hollywood actresses.

Please don't change your face, Miss D!

I agree David. It would look pretty damned weird if he had the face of the lovely Donna "Elly May" Douglas plastered onto the front of his head. I'm afraid If I saw him like that I'd feel obligated to jump into a cement pond full of ravenous critters...

I took a nap and I'm still recovering. I had an infected sabacious cyst on my back. If had the worse pain I have ever felt today. If you've ever had an ingrown toenail or hangnail or a zit that was semi infected, picture them putting a NEEDLE in it to numb it. OH MY GOD. I have never been in that much pain. I'm quite exhausted, but it had to be done. The doctor was VERY nice and told me I'm doing better than what he would be. He did say this was a big one and that I've had to deal with this for 4 days was crazy. I'm starting to get a fever, so hopefully that won't stay. I have some vicaten and some sleeping pills. I was hoping to get Intrada's Horner title today, that would put a smile on my face, but nope, maybe tomorrow.

Not sure if anyone cares, but theres a small update about me and my health.

Hi dmd! I'm glad you're ok. I used to have a ganglion cyst on my wrist. I had a couple beers and popped it myself. This was about ten years ago and it hasn't come back.

Awww, poor widdle Petie. Better watch Driving Miss Daisy. You can focus on Hoke's need to pee instead of your discomfort. razz

Better you took care of it now before it grew into a hump.

Glad you're on the mend, Miss D!

I have drank on vicoten before, it makes me CRAZY loopy, that's all. I mean regular vicoten makes me goofy, but if I add a beer or something. I feel like I'm on another planet. Although it does take ALL the pain away. I've never been high on illegal drugs, but I'm guessing this is close. I haven't done that victoen and beer thing for years, nor will I.

Get well, DMD. Sounds like you're through the worst of it at least, and do try to get that Horner title tomorrow. smile

I'm suddenly reminded of a line from STAR TREK IV: The Voyage Home:

Kirk - "We need to get our hands on a couple of humpbacks."

(pause)

Scotty - "Humpbacks? . . . People?"

Kirk - "WHALES, Mr. Scott!"

I'm feeling a lot better, still have a way to go. Took a shower today and looked at the wound, GOOD LORD, looks like I've been through one of those SAW films. The vicodin is helping a lot. thanks guys and gals for your nice words.

Surgical scars look awful after the fact, but they go away for the most part. When I had that collapsed lung almost 2 years ago, they cut about a 3 inch incision just southwest of my left titty and it looked pretty bad when I removed the bandage out of the hospital. Now, Meh. Can't even tell it unless you are really looking southwest of my left titty.

Meanwhile, relax! Enjoy a refreshing beer with your vicoden! It adds a sparkle to the day! big grin
