If so, it's exactly the kind of deceptive tactics (not to mention smugness) I've come to suspect from people of a certain ideological orientation. Um, excuse me... Steve is celebrating the date of November 3rd as it only comes once a year. The American political party of which the current American President is not a member won a couple of elections last night, and for reasons passing understanding, members of that party are basking in the astonishing afterglow of what is actually a pretty run-of-the-mill event. Not really. There wasn't a great deal up for grabs last night -- the biggies were two governorships and a special election for a House seat. The Republicans went 2-1 in those. As I said, "Big whoop". It's not some massive bellwether indicator of Dark Things for Democrats.
