I just recently watched The Satanic Rites of Dracula on You Tube and was immediately taken by the Main Titles. Kind of sounds like Dracula travelling by 747. I was fortunate enough to snag a copy from SAE. Surprised this was still in print being LTD edition and all.

To be honest, I'm no longer surprised when limited editions don't sell out.

For some strange reason, BSX titles in particular never seem to sell out.

Take "Star Crash"—1,500 copies. I mean, I know "Star Crash" had been on CD before but—that CD was many years out of print; it's a cult classic; and it's John Barry who isn't exactly known as a poor seller.

Years on, not sold out.

Anyway, I love that John Cacavas score from "TSROD". I love the movie too. It's just a shame that because of a strange copyright situation with that movie in the US, there are lots of poor quality, badly cut pan-and-scan VHS rips on DVD with cut scenes, not the original credits, etc.

I hope the version of the movie you saw was the one released by Anchor Bay which was one of the few 'official' releases which was widescreen and had the proper credits.

Cheers

I don't know if it was the Anchor Bay version you speak of but it was in widescreen and was pretty good quality as far as you tube goes. Can't get that title theme out of my head though.
