This week it's been Roy Budd's Cinephile albums including TOMORROW NEVER COMES, FOXBAT and THE MARSEILLE CONTRACT, and I'm currently playing DIAMONDS. Please, will someone release WILD GEESE 2?!?!?!

Belatedly, Mark Isham's terrific score for THE BLACK DAHLIA. (I'd never believed Isham had something like this in him.)
Sounds like a cousin to L.A. CONFIDENTIAL with more soft moments but all of the rythmic drive.

I just introduced myself to the delightful music of Francis Chagrin thanks to Chandos, Rumon Gamba and the BBC Philharmonic. A sizzling compilation album featuring delightful melodies, spot on performances and dazzling sound quality! I'm very interested in hearing more from this composer especially his score to Greyfriars Bobby.

Highly recommended!

Amelia by Yared and The Red Canvas by James Peterson. Both melodic, bold scores. Love 'em!
