In Halloween II, the scene where the nurse goes to the Doctor's office and finds him with a needle in the eye. The aquatic quality of the fish tank or whatever is reflected in shade throughout the room.

Any others?

Dean is one hell of a cinematographer. I got to chat to him at the Halloween convention back in 2003 in Pasadena and he was VERY technical which was great. I could have listened to him for hours. Very nice guy, though VERY serious!!! He talks a lot on the DVD they put out on that convention a couple years ago.

For me, it's a toss-up between JURASSIC PARK and HOOK. Both look absolutely gorgeous.

I don't know how much of JURASSIC PARK and HOOK I'd credit to Cundey only - Spielberg's taste and technique is all over them.

I've always thought Cundey's work with Carpenter and Zemeckis were matches made in heaven. Cundey's team managed brilliance, discipline and technical virtuosity on a regular basis.

I miss Cundey's work these days. frown John Carpenter's movies haven't looked nearly as good as they did when Cundey was his regular DP.
