Good picks to make!

I was going to make a list but this is a little too "exhausting" - I can't think of 5 scores for every year. (This year is particularly tough, all I can think of is Terminator Salvation)

Michael Kamen - Open Range
Christopher Young - An Unfinished Life
Alan Silvestri - G.I. Joe
Goblin - Non Ho Sonno

Thanks for the link Erik but I started one new because I wanted to choose five of each year, like some famous awards and not just one for year.

Actually, I think this is rather premature.
The year 2000 is the final year of the 1990s.
The '90s = 1991 through 2000.
and
the first decade of the 21st century is:
2001 through 2010.

We should wait past December 2010 to compile listings for this category...

No, because we reckon decades differently than we measure years. We measure decades by what's in the tens column. 1970 was, I'm sorry to say, not part of the 60s.

Based upon my recollections from other sources, there was no year zero between B.C. and A.D.; so A.D. started with year 1.
Also, I recall Alex Trebec stating in Jeopardy years ago that 2004 would be the first leap year of the 21st century (so even though Y2K was a leap year, it wasn't considered the first year of the 21st century).
However, these are not my rulings, just what I remember from other "authorities".
To wit:

Year zero
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
"0 A.D." redirects here. For the game, see 0 A.D. (game).
For other uses, see Year zero (disambiguation).
Year zero is not used in the widely used Gregorian calendar, nor in its predecessor, the Julian calendar. Under those systems, the year 1 BC is followed by AD 1. However, there is a year zero in astronomical year numbering (where it coincides with the Julian year 1 BC) and in ISO 8601:2004 (where it coincides with the Gregorian year 1 BC) as well as in all Buddhist and Hindu calendars.

If decades are measured by the 3rd digit of the calendar year, why does measuring centuries abide by the 4th digit?

I don't have a top 10 scores for the decade (haven't thought it out), but I have a top 5 overall:

- The Dancer Upstairs (alberto iglesias)
- Birth (alexandre desplat)
- Mission to Mars (ennio morricone)
- On the Beach (christopher gordon)
- Deep Blue (george fenton)

I'm guessing AI (John Williams) will be somewhere among the rest.
