Just finished smile

Available is complete discography, three different biographies from various sources online and audio section featuring also a brief suite from his unreleased score from MYSTERIES OF PITTSBURGH. Highly recommended and a beautiful score, unfortunately available as only a few clips from the movie combined together but it is still worth checking out.

If you have anything that would be worth including, please let me know.

Excellent website!

I love Shapiro's work - fingers crossed some of those unreleased scores get released at some point, especially The Devil Wears Prada and Starsky & Hutch!

Well done Lakeshore for releasing most of the rest! :-)

Very nice work on this website.
I enjoy several of Mr Shapiro's scores including Dodgeball and Along Came Polly.
I was very surprised you had some tracks on the site from Along Came Polly as I did not know the score was ever available in any form. Just wished you had put tracks 23 or 24 as those are my favorite scenes and themes from the movie.
Keep up the good work.

Lokutus, you have done us all a great service.

I absolutely adore Shapiro's score to HEIST, and hope to see it released (officially) someday. Also, I recently watched THE MYSTERIES OF PITTSBURGH and found his work to be just beautiful.

Without question, a very talented composer whose reputation will only grow with time...

Well done Lokutus ! Theodore Shapiro is a very talented composer. Let's hope he'll get more projects other than comedies in the future.

I absolutely adore Shapiro's score to HEIST, and hope to see it released (officially) someday.

I'm there too! I love this score, the Heist's theme is just... infectious.
Dodgeball is quite good too, especially the impressive heroic and action-driven pieces at the end of the movie.

Thanks a lot for all your very kind comments. :-)
I will be probably changing a few details here and there and maybe also change selected samples as it was a very rush selection. It might be also easier to have a few samples from some of the films Shapiro worked on instead of selection arranged by genres that often overlap.

I hope that Heist sometimes gets official CD release. Fantastic score.

Just added one sample from his score for JENNIFER´S BODY.

No idea where is it coming from as a friend sent it to me. The score is pretty cool and entertaining just like anyone might expect from Theodore Shapiro and it´s quite a shame there is no release available.

Mysteries of Pittsburg I still think is his best score to date and it's so sad the licensor isn't willing to licence the score for release.

Anyway, there is a very blurry line between promos and bootlegs in cases of most of them. I rather listed them all as promos as they must be coming from more "official" source, but really hard to tell which is which. I made that cover for the site exclusively so if there is really "real" promotional edition (I have never seen), it doesn't look like this.

If that is going to be the new banner, might I suggest keeping the width to 800px. That's the standard minimum monitor resolution. 1280px is the standard maximum, after 800, is anybody has it set higher, the page creates a scroll bar, and if text keeps going, people have to scroll to the right to read it and scroll back to the left.

Create some kind of background color or image that repeats, to fill in the empty space automatically for any resolution greater than 800px.

Well... the main reason I started preparing new version was I got annoyed by not so wide layout of the previous version... at times of widescreen and HD monitors it doesn't make much sense to have a website which is only 1/3 of the screen wide... although it would have been so much simpler.

Either way... new version is online.
I will still have to add pages of individual projects with more details and info about releases and perhaps some more samples too...
