I thought I could wait a little while on this one but since it's moving so fast I can't afford to hesitate any longer. Just ordered from SAE. Thanks, guys!
Yeah, I thought this one might sit for a while, due to the stuff that's been released lately. But, you just can't take the chance, so I just created (another) impromptu order at SAE, together with the double Elmer Kritzerland whammy. It's all good!
This one sold out within 5 DAYS but no one bothered to stick around to discuss it!! Shame on us all The Main Title theme always reminded me of Bill Conti, filtered through BB's own voice. Very grand and operatic. I don't know if I like the source cues included in the main body of the score, but I don't turn them off, so it helps broaden my horizons at least. Some good, powerful thriller/suspense music in this one. Also typical Broughton sounding. I LOVE that guitar melody heard in track 7 (The Shower). I remember watching the film on video and REALLY liking Daphne Zuniga. I already fancied the pants off her after The Sure Thing. But this was a much sultrier version of her. Man, I miss new Bruce Broughton scores on a regular basis
