I just found this over at the Intrada Forum;

http://totalrocky.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=4552

If it's true it'll be good.

There doesn't seem to be a label mentioned nor a source for this news. I, too, hope it's true.

I suspect that the boys over at LaLaLand is in on this.

I could be wrong.....wink

Not saying it's not true, because it's no more far-fetched than any of two dozen 2009 releases seemed in December of 2008. But all the info we have to go on here comes from somebody typing this on another messageboard, citing no source.

I know how many people here would faint for this, so I certainly hope it's true. But I wonder…

Sounds bloody amazing if it's legit, but I doubt it's true - even in this "Golden Age of Soundtracks".

Can they really fit Rocky III, IV and V on one disc? Bit of a tight squeeze...

Someone must be playing mind games, this is too good to be true (isn't it?)
Fingers crossed though!!

well if they only included music recorded for the film - the R 3 soundtrack had a lot of cues from the two previous instalments

If this is true - and the cue titles seem to make sense - it has to be at least three discs. ROCKY III, IV and V would not fit on one disc in their entirety. Two films per disc would probably work.

And if this is true, Henry is gonna go insaaaane... big grin

The combination of too much crammed onto a disc, and no source or label given, makes it highy suspect. Also, the rights are held by more than one company, aren't they? So any such deal seems even more unlikely.

Also, notice the poster just signed up in Dec 2009. Number of posts: 1. And his member status is not Champ or Bruiser, it's Bum. He also chose a handle that's a villain's name in the Rocky mythos.

Well, you never know man ....let's wait and see.
The user details were the first thing I checked after following the link and although it is a little suspicious, let's hope it's one of those projects that's been years in the making.
I have to remain hopeful.

If it's true, it's a must-buy, for the DiCola material alone.

I thought the same thing, I mean 34 tracks and lots of those are 3-4 minute songs. Makes me wonder you know.

I'm just being desparate, but NORTH & SOUTH has about 40 tracks on one disc with some being 3-4 minutes. So hopefully it's true.

I always liked the music for the bumper where the flower pot waters the flowers, and then Rocky and Bullwinkle grow out of the ground.
