Empire of the Antz!! Cool!! Saw the movie a few months ago and really liked the score. Very happy that Kritzerlanf has released it. The movie itself is awfull, but in a fun way.

Food of the Gods in 2010?

I was going to recommend the next one be . . .

. . . but it turns out that one was SO low-budget it was done with tracked library music.

F.Y.I. There is a special edition DVD coming for this film.

As you might imagine, I had a good deal of fun coming up with the track titles, especially some of the ones toward the end smile

I'm not sure where we'll have Dana sign, but like all of these, you really get two booklets so you'll definitely have a clean one.

If I'm one of the first lucky 100... great.

The track title are hilarious!

I would love the have Kaproff's THE BIG RED ONE.

Same here.

I have a vinyl recording of "The Late Great Planet Earth" with a really exceptional score by Dana Kaproff that's more or less ruined by the Hal Lindsey and Orson Welles narration.

To hear that score alone would be a worthwhile experience.

And a big pat on the back to Stefan, who is, along with Morricone, pretty unerring in his guesses.

Ordered them both. The sound samples on these two sound great!

Thank you Bruce Kimmel and Kritzerland for an amazing year of releases!

Why not use the original cue titles? Granted, they're a little bland in comparison to yours, but they are the originals.

Any plans for some of the other obscure AIP scores MGM has tapes for, like COUNT YORGA, VAMPIRE (by Harpo Marx's son!) or ANGRY RED PLANET?

Well, because no one seemed to have the original cue titles, at least that I could find. Steel, of course, had no cue titles. As to other scores, tapes are always the issue.

The more I hear of Paul Dunlap (Angry Red Planet, Destination Inner Space, Cyborg 2087
The Naked Kiss, Stage to Thunder Rock, Law of the Lawless, Shock Corridor, Black Zoo, The Three Stooges in Orbit, The Three Stooges Meet Hercules, The Four Skulls of Jonathan Drake, How to Make a Monster, Blood of Dracula, I Was a Teenage Werewolf, Dance with Me Henry, Shack Out on 101, Cry Vengeance, Target Earth, Big Jim McLain, Lost Continent, The Steel Helmet , The Baron of Arizona) the more I think someone should do a collection of his. If genre films seem to have a following, saleswise, he did them all.

And for those who care, both Love With The Proper Stranger/A Girl Named Tamiko and Inspector Clouseau are now sold out at Kritzerland.

Are the autographs still around? If so, I'll jump in and order! If not, I'll sit on it till after the holidays. Circumstances force me to be somewhat cheapskate-ish.

We're working with Paul on some projects right now, as Paul is a client of mine. Have already gotten the legal permissions taken care of, and we are in the process of checking out the available audio.

I mentioned COUNT YORGA and ANGRY RED PLANET specifically since they're listed on MGM's inventory of music tapes. Of course, since they're AIP, they might turn out to be missing, mislabeled or of poor quality!

As for EMPIRE OF THE ANTS cue titles, they're on the cue sheet, which MGM has. For the curious:

1) Main Title Part 1
2) Main Title Part 2
3) Initial Dreamland Cruise
4) Dreamland
5) Off to Dreamland
6) Radio-active Lunch
7) Cocktails Part 1
8) Cocktails Part 2
9) Voyeurs
10) More Cocktails
11) More Cocktails (Not a typo--that's how it is on the cue sheet)
12) Something is Watching
13) Doubting Thomas
14) Joe and Coreen
15) Blood -- Fire -- Ants
16) End of Chris and Charlie
17) Ants Over the Oldies
18) River Ants
19) Boat Upset
20) Valley of the Ants
21) Rescued
22) Rescued (Again, not a typo)
23) Town
24) Car Explosion
25) Trapped
26) Queen Ant
27) Joe and Corren Captured
28) Death of a Queen Part 1
29) Death of a Queen Part 2
30) Antville Incineration
31) End of an Empire

Pretty bland; Bruce's cue titles score points for originality and humor!

count me in to buy ANGRY RED PLANET if it was released...not a huge amount of music in the film but those cues were originally derived from Paul's INVISIBLE INVADERS and used again in DESTINATION INNER SPACE as library tracks. Maybe it could be paired up on a CD with something else by Paul?

I'd move on it immediately. We'll probably have a handful of extras beyond the 100.
