Definitely would buy a Ron Jones box of Trek.

Disc or two, maybe. Big box, not.

Can we have some other guesses too, as to what the next box will be? At least that would allow some of us retain a hope that it might be something other than 15CDs of Ron Jones music. Just because the Rozsa box is 15 CDs does not mean that future boxes, like previous ones, will by anywhere near that many.

Well bless his heart if it is. And bless our bank accounts. Whew!

I could envision a Korngold box, with all his Warners scores. Or, a Golden Age MGM box, with numerous scores and fragments from the 30's and 40's, including a lot of Herbert Stothart, like THE GOOD EARTH, MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY, etc. That would probably require a box, just to include all the fragmentary scores that have no doubt been discovered. As for John Barry, what would such a box include? I'm not familiar with the work of Mr. Jones, though he does seem to have his adherents. And I seem to remember Lukas stating that the next box will have 14 disks, not 16. But what's a couple of disks here and there, one way or t'other? I'll probably buy it, whatever it is....

I remembered it being either plus or minus one from 15 - 16 was my safe guess! Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be interesting and worthwhile!

Okay, based on the clips and what I heard on the SUPERMAN box I don't see an incredible investment based on expansions of other composer's material. I go back to my original guess based on that title up there at the FSM gettogether. BUTTERFIELD 8 would be a nice kick-off for a Kaper box. With titles like Ada(1961), Two Loves (1961), The Angel Wore Red (1960), The Scapegoat (1959), Don't Go Near the Water (1957), The Barretts of Wimpole Street (1957), The Power and the Prize (1956), Somebody Up There Likes Me (1956)Forever, Darling (1956), The Glass Slipper (1955), Betrayed (1954) (US version), Her Twelve Men (1954), Saadia (1953), The Actress (1953), Shadow in the Sky (1952), The Red Badge of Courage (1951), Three Guys Named Mike (1951), Key to the City (1950), Malaya (1949), That Forsyte Woman (1949), The Great Sinner (1949), The Secret Garden (1949), Green Dolphin Street (1947) and Courage of Lassie to choose from Bronislau Kaper at MGM would be an incredible tribute to an incredible composer that FSM favors bigtime. I would too.
