David Anthony, I enjoyed your thoughts and couldn't agree more about Raging Moon. It is a stunner. Only released on lp in the U.K. I bought this in 71 or 72. I was in high school, on vacation in Europe with my parents from the American midwest. Already a soundtrack fan, I was hitting any record store I could find, which included the HMV on Oxford--was it called HMV in the early 70s? And I went to that store on Dean Street, although I'm not sure it was called 58 Dean Street back then. Plus smaller shops with listening booths--no shrink wrap in England in those days!
I picked up a couple of Ember Barry plus several things that were not available in the U.S.--Boom!, Once Upon a Time in the West, and The Raging Moon. I still have them.
The Raging Moon remains a favorite all these decades later.
