I do admire this fellow's passion, high notes and falsetto!

Wishing him a safe return from being stranded in that darned Delta!

He's right except there were lyrics for the original Star Trek theme. Of course they weren't used but then neither were his...

Two things about this....Makes me want to never go to Youtube again and combining this with the other topic currently going about the expanded Trek score, I have never laughed so hard in my life. Good times in the message board today!

Nice try...but (for me) it landed with a big THUD!

Lyrics too repetitive and simple. Seemed awfully awkward.

He gets an E for effort, though.

Now please escort him to the Brig.

Ahh this is a bunch of hooey. Lukas Kendall wrote much better lyrics to this theme over 10 years ago.

Star Trek there!

[going there - over there - over there]

Star Trek voyaging there

[going there - over there - and there and there]

Star Trek voyaging over there way over
way over there
and there they go
over there
they go

Star Trek voyaging over there way over
and over there
and over there
they go

Sometimes when they are going way over there
No mat-ter where, they will find, the same... things

Star Trek voyaging over there
way over, and over there
way over there
they go

[warp speed!]

Star Trek voyaging there.

That Lukas!

Giving Will Jennings and the Bergman's a run for their money in great lyric writing!

I bet he has a killer falsetto as well!

Cheers!

A bunch of fun cover versions of the Voyager theme are linked here:

http://bitly.com/1iw1sCQ

Includes two different vocal versions (one that's got banjo, ukulele and guitar accompaniment) and a pipe organ version. Jerry would be pleased. Or would sue.
